In this post, I’ll introduce you affordable and effective solution for organize the Articulated Arm and Small Ball Head. This Magic Arm Hanger, designed for easy mounting on walls or IKEA SKADIS pegboards. This 3D-printed solution is perfect for holding adjustable arms, clamps, and other accessories, making your workspace neat and functional.

Installation Guide
The Magic Arm Hanger is designed for hassle-free installation on walls or IKEA SKADIS pegboards. With the IKEA pegboard, it’s easy to install and reposition, allowing you to adjust your setup as needed.
To securely mount it on an IKEA SKADIS pegboard, you’ll need an M5 dowel and M5x15 flat head screws. The dowel, originally designed by MakerTom, has been remixed into a slotted shape to prevent twisting when using a single mount point.
If you’re installing the dowel in the middle of the pegboard, you may need additional support at the back to prevent it from bending while you push it in. I’ve designed an IKEA SKADIS backer/spacer to simplify the installation process.
This hanger is compatible with most standard-size Magic Arms, making it a versatile addition to your workspace. In addition to the original design, I’ve also created a version that fits the Small Ball Head and Ball Head Arm. Even though the slimmer version also fit standard size magic arm but I discovered that the previous version with a thicker jaw holds the full-size arm more firmly.
